Out Of Frequency is an experimental punk rock trio comprised of Fabian Villeneuve (main vocals/guitar), Austin Striemer (scream vocals/bassguitar), and Patrick Rocheleau (drums). 2024-2025 has been an ecstatic year for this trio, performing over 80 shows across the western provinces while balancing day-to-day jobs, and family responsibilities. Known for their insane merry-go-round of high-distortion punk rock, hardcore, and alternative rock, Out Of Frequency writes with heavy and groovy melodies alongside satirical, thought-provoking lyrics. Their energetic live performances have left audiences moving and begging for more.

Award-winning Saskatchewan punk trio delivers Orwellian-charged chaos on September 19, 2025!

Saskatoon, SK – Out Of Frequency is signed to Remedy Music and fresh off a blistering run of 80+ live shows across WesternCanada, this experimental punk rock trio is set to unleash their newfull-length album, STATIC, on September 19, 2025.

Produced by Matt Stinn (Green Wing) of Rainy DayRecording Co., Static is a furious blend of 90s skate punk, 2000s hardcore, and raw alternative grit. The record captures the trio’strademark high-distortion energy while tackling lyrical themes of resistance, survival, and the unsettling reality of George Orwell’s 1984 creeping into modern times.

“This album shows off each member’s playability — it’s us going back to our adolescent roots, blending our differences into one chaotic, therapeutic sound,” says frontman Fabian Villeneuve. “Creating music is still fun for us because it’s built on friendship and mutual respect —and that’s what keeps us alive as a band.”

With satirical yet thought-provoking lyrics, Static showcases Out Of Frequency’s ability to balance heavy grooves with anthemic punk energy. Tracks like “Hardcore Kids Go Dancing” and “Burn theRich,” have already built momentum with fans, while upcoming cuts promise to keep mosh pits alive across the prairies.
